Q: What are your hours?

A: Wednesday - Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday 8am -12, Monday and Tuesday by appointment only.

Q: Can you make cakes for my special diet?

A: Yes! We will try to accomodate your dietary needs. We are certified Kosher, and have recipies for delicious vegan and lo-carb desserts, too! There may be an additional charge for special recipes. Please inquire about your needs before placing your order. All products are prepared with equipment that may have been used to process nuts.

Q: Is there a minimum quantity I must order?

A: Yes, for all non-cake desserts. Please call the shoppe for our minimum order requirements.

Q: Can I buy ready-made cakes and desserts without ordering ahead?

A: No, we have been so busy with our custom cake orders that we can only accomodate advance orders. Please call or stop in to place your order.

Q: Can I order a cake online?

A: Not yet, although we may offer this service in the future. Please call us or stop in so we can get all the information we need to complete your order.

Q: Do you make ____________?

A: If we don't already, we can try! We are continually adding to our recipe box, so call for an update. This website shows only partial listings of our products. We can bake with your family recipe (a great time-saver at the holidays) or whip up a batch of whatever you need - just give us ample notice.

Q: How much do your cakes cost?

A: Our cakes are priced per serving, so the total cost varies depending on the number of guests you wish to serve. Since each cake is custom designed it is impossible to give an exact quote without detailed information on the cake flavor, fillings, and decorations you would like. Most of our wedding clients choose cakes priced between $5 -$9 per serving, but we will work with you to design an unforgettable cake within your budget.

Q: Do you deliver?

A: We deliver in the Erie, PA area, and can deliver as far as Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo. The delivery charge is based on distance to the location, setup time involved, and the number of staff needed for the delivery. Please inquire about delivery availability when ordering.

Q: Can you ship cakes to other locations?

A: No... It is impossible to guarantee the safe arrival of our cakes unless we personally deliver them. Our products are designed to taste wonderful when fresh baked - not filled with preservatives for a long shelf life, so shipping isn't the best way to enjoy them! We look forward to seeing you when you're in Erie!

Q: How far ahead should I place my order?

A: The sooner the better - we can only make a limited number of cakes each week. Many of our wedding customers book up to 2 years in advance and popular dates fill quickly. You do not need to finalize all the details when booking, but a deposit is required to hold your date.

Q: Do you make cakes featuring licensed characters?

A: No, we could be fined thousands of dollars for creating products in the image of licensed characters (Mickey Mouse, other cartoon characters, etc). We are happy to make a cake to match your color scheme and other details, but not the character themselves.

Q: Do you offer cake decorating classes?

A: 1/2 hour decorating demonstrations are available for groups - call for details.
